Operate a Roller OHSCER215AFormal /Informal Roller Training and Assessment:
The Training is competency based so those of you that have experience operating a Roller it won’t take as long to obtain your ticket. Those of you who have no experience will need to take a little longer to be deemed competent. Formal TrainingFormal Training is mandatory. This is a requirement set by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland. Formal training goes over a period and covers all aspects of the Roller, legislation requirements, demonstrations and all elements from the Roller training and assessment instrument. At the end of the formal training you will be required to undertake a theory exam to be deemed competent. Once you have completed the formal training, you will be issued with a Training Plan and Logbook in which hours and the tasks from the training plan need to be filled in. You can do this on our site and use our machines or you can go to your work site and practice those tasks and log your hours. Assessment:After you have logged your hours and practiced the tasks in the training plan, we will then assess you. Once you are assessed you will then receive a Statement of Attainment to be deemed competent. ** Roller used for training are minimum 2 litres as per Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines** RPL:Please call the office to discuss the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Process.
